Sunday Morning Worship is designed to encourage and instruct believers, as well as visitors through music, prayer, the Lord's Supper & preaching of the gospel from the scriptures. You will be blessed with Love, great Worship, great Fellowship & Strong Preaching.

Everyone is welcome to attend our prayer group. As Jesus said: “if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” (Matt 18:19-20).

Last Saturdy Monthly @ 9am

Are you the man God wants you to be? Sometimes circumstances in life make it difficult for men to be all God wants them to be. Join the church men who are engaged in a bible study which brings them together on our church campus one Saturday each month. All men are welcome.
 (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)

1st Sunday monthly @ 6pm

The first Sunday evening of each month families gather together for devotion and a meal on church campus. This is a special time favorite recipes and main dishes are enjoyed by each other and everyone brings a side dish. The devotion is often prepared by a family member as God leads.
(Hebrews 10:24-25)

Communion

The Hill Country Chapel is a place where communion is viewed as a very important part of our 10am Worship Service every Sunday. The emblems representing the body and blood of our Lord are prepared with care and our thoughts are directed to the great sacrifice God made through His Son on the cross. We honor the scripture each time we serve an open communion to all believers who have come into God's house as we are reminded of this verse...
"You do show forth the Lord's death until He comes."
1 Corinthians 11:26

Children's church

Sunday Children's Church:

Baby Church: infants to 3yrs.
Critterland: ages 3-5 yrs.
Children's Church: 1st - 5th grade

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it" Proverbs 22:6

Baptism

We practice the baptism of the New Testament which is the immersion in water of the penitent believer symbolizing the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. We rejoice with new believers along with the heavenly hosts when a believer is baptized into Christ. (Acts 2:44-47)

birthday lunches

The women of Hill Country Chapel celebrate birthdays once a month at a local restaurant. This is a sweet time of fellowship. (Hebrews 10:24)

women's events

Hosting special worship services on the church campus is a part of the women's agenda. This is a good time to see other women who are faithful to the call of God and who will also enjoy fellowship.  (1Peter 3:8) Click on "announcement/Events" tab to check for future information.

4th Sunday after service

The women of Hill Country Chapel view the opportunities for service in the household of God to be a calling and a great honor. The women meet once a month for planning & serves in such areas as care ministry, prayer line, benevolence, greeters, librarian, missionary outreach, communion preparation & encouragement.

Secret Sister Program

Our church ladies participate in this wonderful program. The ladies pick a name & secretly swap unexpected gifts, cards, poems or prayers, encouraging one another until the big reveal. This is a wonderful time to get to know the lovely ladies at Hill Country Chapel.

New Ladies Reception

The women of Hill Country Chapel know how important receiving new families into our fellowship is. Several times a year, as new families begin their journey with us, the women of the Chapel host a special reception honoring the women of each family. It is a special time to get to know one another & learn how to best serve one another.

   Street Ministry

Hill Country Chapel is engaged in an active outreach ministry to people who live on the street and those with special needs for housing. We meet at 9:30am at HCC on the 3rd Saturday of every month. We travel by church van to Travis Park & Haven for Hope in San Antonio to minister the gospel by giving Bibles and food. Clothing is also an important part of this ministry. With prayer and words of encouragement those who may not be able to afford these supplies receive hope & learn that Christ loves them.
(1John 1:3)

Hill Country Chapel partners with Operation Christmas Child. The amazing journey of a Shoebox gift begins with you and results in Evangelism, Discipleship and Multiplication. After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said "Go and do likewise."
